awesome ep....i hope they kill the guy who got noah killed.....

hope the wife beater dies too

I have a feeling they'll turn it on ricks group to make it seem like he was the victim.. I feel tides are going to turn soon, and either Ricks group will go to war with Alexandria, or they'll take over.

Well from the end scene Carol said that Pete has to die..
How do you kill someone in a community that' has a huge wall around it and not draw suspicion (especially after the Priest decided to go and tell the woman about how bad their group is).

no, doesn't fit the alexandria narrative they've been developing.
Even disregarding the comic book storyline, it still doesn't fit.
They wouldn't spend all this character development and pushing the group into acceptance for them to go to war with each other.

obviously since you read the comics you know more than me, but I disagree with your bolded statement. Things going bad could still be consistent with the narrative the show has presented so far.

The group has been offered the possibility of acceptance. I feel like they've considered it, taken some aspects of it and rejected others. If we look at the whole group and average it out, I'd say they are about 60% into Alexandria acceptance. There's still plenty of room for it to go either way.

Gabriel's statement + Carol's stealing + Aiden's death + Rick vs wifebeater + whatever secret Deanna hasn't told them about the exiled people = could still easily add up to this new relationship souring. I don't think it will go sour because people say that isn't what happens in the comics, but just based on what has happened in the show it would still be in the realm of reasonability.

isn't that very obvious? self interest is his motivation, just as it was the case when those people were stuck outside of his church. He knows the group knows about him having done that and for his own sake, he likes to have a secure new place without anyone knowing his sins.

i see it a little differently

Gabriel thinks that Rick's group of "savages" may be the downfall of the new sanctuary he has found. Self-interest means distancing himself from Rick in Deanna's eyes, but keeping this a secret from Rick. Now if the 2 groups break out into a conflict, Gabriel will be safe no matter which side comes out on top.
