Caught up with all you fanatics... woot... glad I did.

Rick is getting "DARK", him and Carol make a good pair, but that also includes Daryl.
I have not read anything about this show, but from what I have seen in the episodes,
we can see the "girl" stole "Ricks" gun outside of the fence... it is simple in some ways,
she still feels like an outsider, she appeared in the window in the house OUTSIDE of the
boundary before they entered.

Outside of above... we can see the moronic two-some-runners trying to make a come-back
in the future episodes against the new people... since they have the upper advantage of
knowing the area, will they get one of them back, or will Ricks family kick their ass more
and get those two killed off... there are many situations to look forward too... and I can
not wait... :D

think if they went to a place below freezing thats really cold the zombies would just freeze?

i guess there cold blooded and no way to warm themselfs

In the Telltale game, it's one of the main plot points. The show is catching up to the comic, and they're at Alexandria for a long ass time. Not sure if the show will go into it, but it might because it actually snows in DC.

It's only taken them 5 seasons to develop Rick into how he should have been once the group left Atlanta and the CDC. I forget where, but I read someone else saying that was one of the downsides to having Shane alive for so long. There was a person to make decisions at the expense of others besides Rick.

Rick should have been burdened with leadership sooner. It would have made the council at the prison and Lori's death have more impact. The books have Rick losing it and becoming more and more grim a lot sooner. The Governor cutting off his hand didn't help either.

So Rick has turned into Shane, and is slowly transforming into the governor, maybe not to that extent, but he's headed in that direction

In the end all humans die, and from what i gather, they all turn to zombies if their braaainzzssz are intact. So last turning rick will be doing is turning into zombie :d

Damn I kinda wouldve liked to see a grittier Rick with a missing hand.

But then again, I found myself rooting for the team to go to Alexandria rather than for Ricks (justified) paranoia.

After catching up... there is reference that these 5 seasons is approximately only 12 months since the incident started, thus, it has
only been a short time for Rick to start becoming darker. Personally I do not want him to turn out like the Gov, that guy was nuts.

Remember I have not read the books... shit I don't read period [outside of this site], but, I would like to see Rick and his group help
Alexandria to survive it, train them etc. I do have a feeling that the husband of the hairdresser is the jealous type and will no doubt
have confrontations with Rick.

Since someone posted how Rick was supposed to lose a hand by the Gov... I am guessing a few other things will change in the TV
writers view on upcoming episodes.

I feel like it has been longer, but they only went through 1 winter so I guess so.

They just make it seem longer, and not to mention it has been a few years now since the show started so I guess that doesn't help.

Also the baby seems older

The main reason for not cutting off ricks hand in the shows is because they would have to have to cgi that in every scene he was in. That is a lot of work.
