The sacrifice she would have to make isn't just dragonglass. She is being asked to allow Jon to be King in the North and therefore not have that as one of her kingdoms. That's where the argument lies.
She needs that alliance. She needs to get off her tyrannical high horse and make some compromises before she loses. Euron is tearing up her navel capacity and Jamie just knocked off her strongest ally. She needs to have a "King of the North" instead of a Warden to have any kingdom right now.
6/7ths of a kingdom is better than 0/7ths of a kingdom.

He's not a warrior, but he can still wield a sword and also showed he had enough balls to fight like only the bravest would in the Battle of the Bastards. I'm aware that under normal circumstances Davos wouldn't stand much of a chance, but a scenario were tides sway in his favour might come up... it wouldn't be the first time the underdog wins.
I just feel that they are two characters with very parallel lives, but also with very antagonistic persoanlities, so it would be interesting if their lives crossed at some point.
I get what you're saying. I just like Bronn more than Davos - not by much though. They are two of the more compelling side characters.
