One thing is might be finally cleared up though...before eobard effed up the time stream...wells might have built the accelerator that was fated to fail and allow barry to get his powers...meaning eobard didn't change how the flash was created...unless he used his knowledge of the future to advance star labs..

Nope. But I actually went and got my vader mask with the voice changer and went "Luke, I am your father" had everyone in the room falling off the couch laughing.

The event was already supposed to happen, thawn just made it happen sooner.

Great show... cleared up a lot of loose ends, basically it is a different universe because the accalarator [sp] was created sooner.
Plenty of scope for the writers to play with.

Now we know how the DNA is different, basically has all of Dr Wells dna and none of himself, only thing he seems to have is his
memories and nature, and of course the suit and other gimmicks from the future.
