just finished ep8 and caught up. disappointed that there was no cliffhanger. It's pretty much just ... some people die, others join, they run circles around Georgia with no direction for the series that actually connects the seasons.

s5 has been miles better than the first half of s4 tho, so I'm still fairly excited about Feb 8th.

I was really surprised they decided to have the group end back up in Atlanta. I figured they would have made the story take place in another major city.

They have source material to follow(not 100% but close enough). They will get away from atlanta and it will be soon too!

Yah. I've read the comics. By the time they were at this same period in the comics, they were in the Carolinas IIRC. They go from Atlanta -> Hershel's farm -> the prison -> back to the farm -> spend several weeks/months on the road (where the show is now) -> Alexandria Safe Zone
