Looks awful

It's not, but it's nothing spectacular either. They went a boring/predictable way with it and it bummed me out, that coupled with them refusing to spend any of their massive budget on making the final episodes feel/look epic, was a bit of a letdown, but everything leading up to the climax (last two episodes), was entertaining and enjoyable.

It definitely could of gone a better direction, but it wasn't completely terrible. Season 1 definitely had a lot of plot holes and I wish they would shown more of Ben's background. Everyone also tends to hate Luther due to how the episodes kept going with his character in relation to Vanya.

I'll just say I liked seeing Mary J. Blige in the series as Cha Cha and her back/forth with her partner Hazel aka Cameron Britton.

I hope season 2 will receive less negative criticism.

Hazel and Cha Cha were easily the best part of the show imo. Their back and forths were great and putting a super mundane "I hate Mondays" feel to time traveling assassins, was amazing. The show did a lot of things great, it just fell flat at the end. I'll tune in next season and I'm confident it'll at least remain entertaining, hopefully they can figure out a better overall direction for what's next.

The show had potential.

Like you said it just ended poorly which made it feel mediocre.

this show was like haunting of hill house except with superpowers, worse acting and significantly less likable characters

also that scene at the beginning when 5 slaughters those assassins in a diner was decent but the song choice was fucking terrible and cringey as fuck

I love how you started WW3 amongst the weebs then just calmly dipped to let them battle it out

What a guild leader, what a guy

Edit: fuck blah. Wish that guy would fuck off already.
