Metacritic usually has the really solid MCU movies in the 70ish area which is about where I'd put them too. None of them are worthy of an 85+ imo. I like them but not because they are fundamentally great movies.

Wish more people could understand that. I've had to hear nonstop at school the past two weeks about infinity war being one of the greatest movies ever made. Shit just blows my mind that people can't differentiate genuine greatness from catered bullshit meant to appeal to as many people as humanly possible. They're enjoyable for what they are and while I'm usually bored in them, I don't hate them and I respect the hell out of the studio for perfecting the art of mass appeal as well as they have, but come the fuck on with this greatest movie ever bullshit. These aren't even the best superhero movies and that already sets the bar wayyyyy fucking down from greatest overall movie.

I can't differentiate fact from opinion either. Ninja Turtles (1990) was a great movie 9/10. Come at me brah.
