Every movie Casey does is oscar worthy

Edit " in regards to Casey, I just still haven't seen enough with him to say he's better. I'll try to check out more of his movies, but Ben just has such a crazy range.

The Accountant, Good Will Hunting, The Town, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Smoking Aces (his 5 minute role in this was perfect). He's done a bunch of terrible huge paycheck movies (paycheck for example lol), but when he's had s decent director, or he's directing himself, he's done a tremendous job. I will watch more of Casey's movies, It's just hard for me to say he's better when the best movie I've seen him in, was directed by his brother.

I'll get on it and post up after I've got a better idea. I just love Ben from my childhood, Phantoms, Mallrats etc. I also remember watching An Evening with Kevin Smith and it was just awesome hearing him talk about how amazing Ben was. Paraphrasing, but I remember a line about him saying hypothetically if they made Jaws 5, Ben could play the fucking shark, Since he can play anything. I really enjoyed hearing that on top. Of being a talented, humble and hard-working young man. I'm always glad to hear about actors I enjoy being good people overall, instead of just being good actors who are pieces of shit.

Casey Affleck is very talented indeed, they both are tbh. Ben Affleck is someone i used to hate on, however his latest few films have been sublime..

Sorry it didn't ask for the best in terms of talent. The question is who has the strongest brand and who is called first for certain roles. Any time they want a strong and sexy female lead scarjo is the first call.

No.... And the question was who is the top actor, not who are the top female actors. As all the highest paid actors and best actors are male, your post was pointless anyways.

Plenty of good females in acting, but come the fuck on.

J Law > Scar for popularity/payment for movie atm anyways. Both are shit though. J Law can be okay, but she's gotten worse and worse since being famous.

My first call would be Emily Blunt

I feel like for the most part actresses have a lot quicker turn over rate, they age out a lot faster because Hollywood doesn't really want to cast middle aged women at the same rate they will cast middle aged men. It is unfair to say men are better actors when a lot of women don't really get the same experience/chances men get. I mean I know it's true, most top tier men are just flat out better, but I wonder what kind of greatness women could achieve in the industry if it was a fair industry.

The few women that do get to act at the same length/pace as men are pretty damn good. Natalie Portman is great, I really like Amy Adams, I am not a fan of Viola Davis she does a great job and doesn't typically play up the "strong loud obnoxious black woman" stereotype that basically all coloured women in the industry seem to do.

I fucking hate Jennifer Aniston and think she is complete shit, but I know a lot of people would disagree with me.

Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange were both amazing in AHS. Not sure about their other work.

Again argument was sound and I agree. They just refuse to give women chances in 40 to 50yr rolls where you'll be relevant. Good actors can stick around into their 70
