I had incredibly low expectations for this movie already, so maybe it'll actually be watchable now with this bringing the bar down even lower. The casting was horrible, the second trailer gave away almost the entire plot and made it look just absolutely dreadful lol.
Just sucks, I like Afleck and I wanted this to go well for him, always knew it wouldn't but oh well. It'll still probably make a ton of money at least, so I doubt it'll end up mattering all that much in the long run. DC just doesn't have a fucking clue what they're doing. They need to stick to the actual gritty/dark movies, the Nolan movies worked, V worked, and The Watchman worked. Unfortunately, the best they've managed to muster besides those movies has been incredibly mediocre products with most of them falling even short of that.
Hopefully this will be an eyeopener for them, I'm guessing the Justice League is going to be just as bad if they don't start seriously reconsidering their direction right this second.
Just saw it this morning. much better than I ever expected. The trailers were done completely terribly. The entire style of that movie was awesome imo. Much, much better than I could have hoped for.
