Personally thought the episode was great. Sets up alot of things down the line. Also loved the Easter egg with the tequila being the same tequila used to poison the cartel boss in BB s4.

yup. Beautifully written. At the beginning of the episode, when Saul got trapped in the garbage room, he could have used the emergency door, but instead chose to patiently wait few hours until someone opened the door. At the end of the episode, he flips the switch even though he shouldn't. Makes me wonder what caused him to have a 180 degree change in personality later on.

yes, because opening an emergency door with alarm brings the cops and not the firefighters.

but that's besides the point, i wanna know what happened between him and kim, how she affected him. how he became the saul goodman we know from bb

Anyone else get the feeling that the opening sequences may be dreams?

Near the end of BB, Saul joked about how we would end up managing a cinnabon. It seems unlikely that that is actually where he went. Possibly, the unhappiness portrayed in those scenes could represent what's in his mind. Being stuck managing a cinnabon would suck. Those scenes are just a projection of his fear.

If they were just dream sequences, it would allow the show to take his future into an unexpected direction, rather than the audience having to know right where he's going.

I think it's the end-game for Saul, as a result of BB, he's in the witness protection program, managing a cinabon ?

totally missed that, but the Saul we've seen so far is the type of person to do the "right thing" (doesnt take ez money) tho now he is starting to slowly transition into being a "rebel"

Plus talking saul explained that the scenes were comparison between Saul/Gene.

Also just found out the bluetooth guy is the same guy from BB where walt blows up his car

Saul / Walt 1 : Ken 0
