it's really not that hard....

Standard movie tickets are so high, that the chance to see 1 movie once isn't worth it when you can own it to view unlimited times for only a little bit more money.

Get it?

it's a high price to pay for entertainment where you can OWN that entertainment for just a little more money......it's not rocket science.

You get a different experience though, although you're r talking with logic, it's not as simple as that. Viewing in a movie theatre is more of an experience than pressing play on a bluray (imo)

It's normally for first time viewing, blu rays often only get purchased once you know you like the movie.

yes.

I didn't expect this to go on for pages.

I like going to the movies. Obviously the big screen and sound is great but being with other people who are noisy is unsettling to me. That's why I like early morning movies, because i general experience better crowds.

Yea same

I also wish they would ban snacks. I'm not paying over the odds to listen to people graze popcorn or tacos throughout the film.
And if you're whispering to your friend throughout you're a dick too.

ha!! i feel the same way. I see fat adults each with their own extra large popcorn and extra large soda and always think to myself, this is why America is so unhealthy.

If i ever get popcorn at the theater, it's the smallest size and I split it with my girlfriend and it's usually gone before the movie even starts. We bring our own water into the theater. Besides, everything at the concession stand is ridiculously overpriced.

It's funny because you say "small" as an American not realizing usa "small" is like a large everywhere else.

As a Canadian who has visited america a few times, I have to say holy shit proper serving sizes please.

Also you're still a giant idiot for that whole "herderp bluray" conversation.
