For the sake of discussion, let's presume for a moment that Luke is NOT Kylo Ren. In that case, what would be some OTHER theories for the suspicious occurrence of Hamill's name being listed second on the poster yet his face NOT being on the poster or in the trailer? Abrams is probably hiding some twist here.

Does he die? Does he spend a good portion of the movie posing as a member of Kylo Ren's crew to infiltrate it? Any good theories?

I think the first movie is going to be extremely dark and full of quite a few unexpected outcomes. I think the movie will end with them finding Luke, seeking out his help during desperate times.

Edit: And his name is the 2nd one listed because of the nostalgia of the older movies. They've stated that approach since the beginning. It's not as complicated as some of you are making it. Marketing. Pure and simple. And it just reassures everyone what we already know. The original cast WILL be in it. That's all, lol.

Edit Edit: Adam Driver is Kylo Ren. Cmon' guys it's not that hard. Especially now that we've seen his hair. I think the twist will be that he is an Anakin clone? Maybe? Some link to the bloodline? I find his character to be the most interesting of any of them, tbh. Not knowing is exciting. JJ not directing the other two movies scares me though, because this one looks fucking epic and well crafted. Really hope they don't drop the ball, following up on his story.

Could be apprentices, followers, cultists etc
The one scene in the trailer with kylo ren in the middle of a group of masked people along with dead bodies all around them make me hope that it has something to do with the Mandalorians

Those were 'The Knights of Ren'. His followers/apprentices.
