It took them a while to figure that out in walking dead didn't it? Like cdc guy told Rick at the end of season 1 and it took half of season 2 to show it?

Yea, Rick told his group in the S2 finale and that's when the audience learned.

I don't have any evidence to back this up, but my impression is that that information was pretty scarce. CDC guy considered it a 'secret'. This tells me that knowledge had not been distributed to the general public (when there was still a society). Whenever someone learned it later on, it would just be known within their group.

Anti gun protagonist's transformation I think will be very interesting. I seems like he understands what's going on but his current policy won't get him far

Of course if you were immediately placed in that situation with no combat experience of any kind I think it would only be rational to seek alternatives to the obvious answer. I just wonder how long that will last and what will be the breaking event

I think kim dickens is single handedly ruining the show for me. I mean, the show is bunk, but kim, man, she's just total bunk. Her face looks so ape-ish / mokey-ish & her facial expresions (or lackthereof) are beyond irritating. Likeeee holy fuck. They could not have picked a worse actress.

How this show has a 7.9 on imdb is beyond me. Imo sock puppets must be responsible.

Twas a bit harsh, but srsly, she made me cringe multiple times, and that isnt good when we(re talking about a lead.
Some folks speculate that she is going to be the rick of the series...uhhhhhh. i honestly hope she dies asap for the sake of the show (not that anything will truly redeem this turd at this point)

I definitely agree that her being on the screen is not something I look forward to, but I don't think that her being "the Rick of this series" would necessarily be a death knell for me.

1) Characters can evolve. If her character were to become a new type of person, such as a heartless soldier woman, maybe the actress could pull it off better.

2) If this show has a large, varied cast like TWD has, it's natural for everyone to have certain characters they like and others they don't. Even if she doesn't evolve, the show could still be entertaining to watch for other characters.
