Well this has to be the first sci-fi flick that has shown going into a black hole...the only other flick I've seen that touches on black holes would have to be the TV show Andromeda ... whereby the Andromeda space ship just gets stuck in the event horizon of the singularity due to time slowing down as you get closer to the singularity.

Nope.
I think, Planet of the Apes with Mark Wahlberg, he gets sucked into a Black Hole and ends up crashing down.

---

I just saw the movie, was Epic Imo. Touched on alot of aspects of Life.
Ofc most of this is fiction and not everything is based on what science has theorized, for me it was "ok" on the sci-fi part.

---

Theres alot more I want to add about this movie but shucks, I just dont feel like it, lol

---

I didn't get the last part, or didn't hear well.
Did Cooper fly to Brand, cause she was alone on planet Edward?
Or was she and others starting to colonize it and Murphy told her father to join her there cause he'd be a familiar face?

Murph told her dad to go fuck brand's brains out on a remote planet and call it Texas cause it'll be filled with a bunch of inbreds.

have u ever seen stargate?
u cant really compare a series to a movie though

ofc I've seen stargate lol. I don't think there are any blackholes in stargate unless I've forgotten? The gate opens up a wormhole to another gate...

edit: ok there was a stargate episode with a black hole...but the blackhole in stargate just sucks stuff in lol.

I think I am still right about interstellar being the first to show the "inside of a black hole" lol.

"The film stars Mark Wahlberg as astronaut Leo Davidson, who accidentally travels through a wormhole to a distant planet where talking apes enslave humans. He leads a human revolt and upends civilization by discovering the apes descended from the normal Earth primates employed on his mission."
