So far so good. We'll see how things go with the upcoming eclipse. The stolen vehicle with the mexican kid and his friend? that was only hinted at in the book, they never actually did it. His friend approached him with the job and the shit started hitting the fan (naked fat vampire guy running down the street attacking people kind of distracted him from stealing the vehicle)

Watched first three episodes.
Went from dubious to terribad.
Dropped..

Finished first book last night. Halfway thru 2nd and loving it. Friend said he wasnt impressed w the 3rd but we'll see. Can't wait to see esp tn alsoL

So looks like we got the fat guy vampire that attacked them, except he wasn't naked and he wasn't decapitated with a knife but had his head bashed in.

So aside from some plot points being moved around, and some minor alterations, the major things are still happening (except for sam from lotr being infected) things are progressing just like the book.

Fun fact, every time you see the nazi vampire talk, he's actually projecting his voice telepathically. They don't have vocal cords. And those little flaps of skin on his throat are equated to that of the caruncle on a turkey and the older they get, the larger the flaps appear and they turn a bright red when they feed regularly, engorged on blood.

Can't wait until they introduce the feelers. If you think the current generation of vampires are messed up, the feelers are even worse.

the acting is so annoying at times.

This show has huge potential and hasn't disappointing yet.

Some people might prefer to start watching the season from episode 3, since 1 and 2 are arguably quite dubious.

I'm fuking loving it and can't wait for more. This is the type of show that would probably be best to be binge-watched.. if only i had the patience

the show started good but i had to drop it due to terrible special effects

New episode was decent, but I feel like there should be more excitement, the chief surgeon? goes out in the middle of the street and everyone else just keeps on acting normal, etc.

Just finished book 2, gooood times. Cant wait to get to book 3!
