On which level are the detectives playing vs Marty/Rust? Who's trying to frame who? Are the connections we see real or coincidental (5men on the table made from beercans vs Marty's daughter with the barbie gangbang)? Who or what is the Yellow King? Why is the police investigating again if higher ups are in on it?

Most likely Cohle is undercover and the supposed break up or falling out Cohle and Hart had was made up to cover for his undercover operation.
Hart questions the boys who knocked up his daughter and they say something that makes him remember seeing the weird thing his daughters were doing with the dolls, and he talks to Cohle about this.
The guy on the lawnmower is obviously connected. The abandoned school is owned by Tuttle.
So many possibilities. Really good stuff coming.
