Be realistic though!!! Walt said he needs to get his money back from todd and jack.... first ep showed him stopping for the ricen. I see two things either he poisions the girl who does the distribution, have some maia roll up and kill todd and jack's crew. ooooor he makes ricen bullets! and shoots all of the crew saves jesse which jesse would then run b/c no way would he stay near white and idk he'd have to kill everyone including jesse and get the money to his family some how through the boxes in the mail

Walt turned himself into who he is. His whole life of taking shit and putting it to the side and just going throughout his life trying to avoid conflict was who he was. But he gets cancer and decides to just live differently because he thinks he is going to die and then when he survives, he doesn't go back.

Walt is Heisenberg and Heisenberg is Walt. We just get to see which one Walt chooses to be in the finale. There's no redemption for Walt outside of personal redemption. I will be very pissed with Gilligan and the writers if they try and make this story turn out to be some kind of fantasy where Walt gets away or reunites with his family. Walt doesn't deserve that and it's a cop out bullshit way to end.

Because the entire point of this show has been Walt has broken bad. He is a broken person.

Gretchen is some bitch he knew beforehand who ran out of a company he had a stake in. And to be honest, the Walt at the beginning of the show doesn't care about her. He cares about his family and Skylar. It wasn't until the onset of his cancer that he truly starts to feel inadequate about his life. And when he survives the cancer he achieved power and as all power does, it corrupts. It even corrupted Hank. As he couldn't let go of the fact he wanted to be the one to bring down the "Heisenberg".

I made my post long because I know I'm in a video game forum - a place full of misogynists who are less ready to accept that Skylar is a strong female character. (They typically expect their "strong female characters" to be of the Hollywood standard, with amazing kung fu skills and zero character flaws, i.e. ridiculous.) If they see a real strong willed person like Skylar who has regular human flaws, they get into their "bitch make a sandwich" mode, and are not willing to see how dynamic and well written she is. In another forum I frequent with novel readers, I wouldn't have to go through as many lengths to justify why she's a good character, because they're mostly smart enough to see it.

Also any time she is in a scene where ANY emotion is necessary she over acts the fuck out of it. The actress who plays Skyler could take some pointers from the actor playing Jesse on how to act emotion... He does an amazingly believable job acting emotions...
