Breakout kings

Like you, I could never get into the whole Game of Thrones fanaticism. It probably is worth watching but it's one of those shows you have to force yourself to watch the first 4-5 episodes of to get into it.

Prison break season 1 2 and 4, season 3 is the worst filler ever, like the last episode will do.

You also seem to like super powered people, so maybe Misfits would also be a good watch, although it might be quite strange if you're not from England (still a little bizarre even if you are!)

Shows similar to Are you afraid of the dark, spooky mini-stories in every episode, although in the remakes a lot of the stories tie in, and the newer outer limits all seem to be different stories at different time periods in the same universe which all tie in by the end and its actually very clever.
