cant remember the name of it, but it was about two mma brothers. i thought it was very boring and anticlimatic, but the reviews on imdb were really good

Are you kidding? Outstanding movie.

MMA had hardly anything to do with the movie.. It was about family, brothers, alcoholism etc etc. Nick Nolte should have won the Oscar for his role.

Isn't that the exact same thing people saw in the other thread where you posted how much you hated Kick Ass? Cause that's all I saw...

Look at this pot calling the kettle black...

I wasn't making a ruckus in that thread. In fact, I only posted in it one time (which was something along the lines of "Kick Ass 2 can't be any worse than the first one") and then didn't revisit the thread again after seeing a couple of butthurt posters telling me how great they thought the film is. And listen here bud, as much as you may think this world revolves around you, it doesn't; and I am not just here with the sole purpose of rustling your jimmies. I am actually here to entice people into engaging in polite conversation and friendly debate regarding films that the general public holds to high standards. But since you are so immature that my thread bothered you enough to cry in it for several posts in a row, I am going to suggest again that you'd be better off ignoring the thread completely so you don't give yourself a hernia.

This is the definition of overrated according to people in this thread:  pretentious posters arguing that, since the movie is well-liked and popular, it must be overrated.

Amazing and unique insight

And you think I'm mad? Man, I wish you could see how much I've laughed since the start of this moronic thread.

Alright guys, I'm out. Flameyes is here to bring the collective IQ of this thread down to the staggering single digits. Enjoy his cleverness. I know I have...

why do you bother posting on these threads? since I have been on here I have no seen ONE person who likes you.. you are an ass to everyone lmao

A little too long, I think, they could have cut the entire scene with the ships that had bomb on them and the movie wouldn't have lost anything. I fucking loved that movie when I saw the midnight years ago, same with the recent Batman movie.

Slumdog Millionaire. I hope I don't come off an an asshole saying that, it is very highly regarded amongst critics and casual viewers, yet I didn't really see the huge appeal. Granted, I liked the movie, I appreciated how well they illustrated the kid's hardships and all. But the whole part about the game show and the beatings just felt a little contrived IMO. But yeah, that.

Someone else in this thread nailed it with Donnie Darko. I thought it was mostly "meh", but what really pissed me off about the movie was some guy referencing Special Relativity, and then saying something about it that is just completely incorrect.

Yeah, I totally agree. The Joker was extremely hyped, and very well done, but they overplayed him there. I think he did his part right up to when he encountered Dent in the hospital. If it were me writing it, I would have had Dent's coin land the other way, him kill the Joker, and put more focus on him for the rest of the movie. I mean, here is this major Batman villain - Twoface - being set up for the whole movie, and then he has about 4 minutes of air time to be an actual villain.

I thought Slumdog was a (mass psychosis) bubble that popped some time ago, meh film on the extreme syrupy side.

So many to mention so I'll just go with 2010s
The Avengers, Limitless, Ted, Wreck-it Ralph, Life of Pi, Lincoln, How to Train Your Dragon, Sinister, X-Men: First Class, Ruby Sparks, Horrible Bosses, Hobbit, Argo, Easy A, Tangled, Hodejegerne, Attack the Block, Kokuhaku (Nice soundtrack though),
