Is this a show based on the book by Stephen King?

I liked the book... as with all of King's it was slow at times, but I enjoyed it. Might look into this show at some point.

Watched several episodes of the tv show and then decided to read the book. I had a hell of a time keeping the characters straight in the book versus the show as there are some major differences. With the turn in the show as of last weeks episode I think it is aligning with the book much better. Looking forward to the direction of the show now.

God damn it. I recorded it to watch after Siberia, but it started half an hour late because of the stupid big bang theory, now I have to wait to catch the rest of the episode x.x
It cut off right as they left in the ambulance.

Was a pretty dramatic episode tbh. I don't see how they can keep up this pace of killing characters seemingly every week. The stuff they overheard outside the dome is very intriguing.

Although, I dislike that Jim does seem to be sucking in all the "evilness" for himself leaving everyone else comparatively likeable. I liked it wen lots of characters had a lot of grey
