I think it will be at least interesting!

So just in case anyone was wondering, the infected in the book, I Am Legend were both zombies and vampires, though not at the same time. If you were infected and alive, you were a vampire, since you were conscious and retained most human mentalities and whatnot. If you died from the infection (possibly because you didn't get blood) you would then reanimate as a zombie, thoughtless and animalistic, though slow and clumsy. The book has wonderful scientific explanations for all of this, in addition as to why bullets do nothing to either and why staking works so well.

As for WWZ, I'm looking forward to a fresh view on zombies. What really got me into zombie/survival movies was Resident Evil, and I loved how zombies could be and were so much more than just walking dead. Unfortunately things went downhill with that series quickly, but it's still kinda neat. I like how it shows them actually using human motor functions, because in my understanding of zombies motor skills are not affected by the disease.

max brook's first book zombie survival goes over all the criteria and I hope the movie follows it and doesn't turn in to some 28 days later bs and completely disregard the soruce material

this movie will get at least 4 stars out of 5

how is this going to be any different from other zombie movies? looks like an ordinary action/apocalypse film to me

Cool shit, have not heard about this one yet. Looks very interesting for a zombie flick I like how the zombie/infected/whatever seem to be fast and not like the ones in most movies/tv where it seems you could outrun them all doing a brisk walk.



I don't understand why people always think zombies should ONLY be these slow,dead and basically non threatening (lol TWD zombies!!! scary!) things just because they have been depicted that way for so long. Why do they have to always have to be slow and lame just because they are dead/infected whatever. Why is a fast undead more ridiculous/unbelieveable then a slow one when its all fiction. I could even made some stupid argument like "being dead means you would not ever get tired from running or some shit" to which you would say "mah zombies....noooo!!!!!" But again its all fiction so just go with it.
