Yeah. But that's his back story from the comic. The only saving grace was the son wasn't raped, just the wife and daughter. He was held down while it happened. But yeah, Abraham beat them all to death and the family ran because of it. The brutality of the scene wasn't quite as it was in the comic, he turned one of the attackers inside out with his bare hands. The only difference was that he finds his daughter turned and he shoots her in the face, they didn't show that. Guess it would've been a little too much.
I didn't realize they were trying to rape his family. Was I just not paying attention or was it not clear. I'm going to rewatch this episode with my wife anyway so we'll see.
I agree with someone else though, why would they leave the guy who just saved them from the attackers. Perhaps if you read the comics it might make more sense but just after watching the episode it wasn't completely clear to me
