Weren't walkers. Those were his neighbors, part of their group. They raped his family while he was out scavenging.
They did get eaten by walkers after they left though.

Yeah. But that's his back story from the comic. The only saving grace was the son wasn't raped, just the wife and daughter. He was held down while it happened. But yeah, Abraham beat them all to death and the family ran because of it. The brutality of the scene wasn't quite as it was in the comic, he turned one of the attackers inside out with his bare hands. The only difference was that he finds his daughter turned and he shoots her in the face, they didn't show that. Guess it would've been a little too much.

I missed about 15 minutes of last nights episode because of me laughing so hard at Eugene watching Abraham and his girl humping.

Good thing they run it again after talking dead goes off. Thought I was gonna die from laughing.
