Looks like dirtyman forgot that sam gave meera and company a bag full of dragonglass arrowheads and a dragonglass dagger. The same dagger she used to shank the wight that attacked her brother.
It was clear that she used one of the arrowheads for her spear. Not her being related to jon.

Also how would being related to Jon matter? iirc there is nothing special that lets him kill white walkers other than his sword.

Weak fan theory because they look similar. (the curly hair) People tried to tie it into the whole R + L = J theory. Got started last year after the finale when Jon was stabbed.
