So I'm kinda confused about the whole newspaper thing showing the flash is missing. Dr wells wants the flash to be missing in the future, correct? He is tryin to not mess up time while living thru the 15 years he traveled back to. So does that mean all of this was planned out in a way that the future doesn't change still?

and in the comic books, it is thought that barry created the speedforce at that time.

so RF needs the speedforce, so he needs barry to disappear still.

I thought the same way, his AI would know the difference in history from the start, and in the newspapers there should be mention of Cisco being killed, BUT, if we
look a little bit into the past events... how DID flash get his abilities? He got them from Star Labs, and who was the founder? Well it was the original RF [Dr Wells]...
this is the paradox to flashes' existence... what came first, the chicken or the egg... ergo the infinate worlds. [not really portrayed in the comics or movies that I recollect]

We all know writers can if they wanted to,
Eventually he's gonna go back 15yrs or whatever and let wells kill Barry's mama so the future doesn't change

I'm not sure if wells had anything to do with Barry getting his powers
Barry got his powers from lightning strike and falling on mix of chemicals
it could be that even without turning on the machine the Lightning wouldve striked him still
