idk if damon will not release her. everyday for the rest of his life knowing she is sired to him if she doesnt release her is just a awful feeling to have. I rather have her love him without being sired.

You sir are not paying close enough attention. It was revealed in the show that a sire bond only makes you act differently, it doesn't change how you feel. As was the case in Tyler's shoes. Even though he was sired to Klaus, he still hated his guts.

In Elena's case, her feelings for Damon irrespective of whether she's sired or not are there.

What I think would happen is that Damon is going to do what he says, ie. release her from the sire bond but will be surprised when Elena still has feelings for him because the aforementioned facts about the sire bond are unknown to him. Good use of dramatic irony in a show.

i still dont get what the 12 sacrafice is about. What is the professor trying to do? he says hes been there already meaning he got the cure before. so.. he was a former vampire and now is human. what is he trying to do. i dont get it.

pretty sure he wasn't a vampire. I actually think he's one of the witches in the story he keeps telling. probably a witch re-incarnated.
