Did they ever talk in the show about tyrion and the whore he married as a, teenager? That bit is gonna be quite important in the next few episodes

i guess i mean everything that has happened at the wall this season was not in the books

jon never travels to crasters keep for revenge, bran was never there...
the wildings are supposed to try and siege the wall with a smaller force resulting in the death of a certain wilding girl..
sam probably wont go on his "quest" until the end of the season..
its been awhile since ive read a storm of swords or a dance with dragons so im sure im forgetting all kinds of other minor stuff...
everything is just so out of order at this point, ( the screenwriters seem to have no regard for the real timeline )

as for whats going on in slavers bay,
i guess the only thing thats really bothering me is the direction of Ser Jorahs storyline, and that strong belwas was not written into the show ( He was an entertaining character in the book and i dont see why they didnt write him in )

also, would be nice for them to introduce the dornish POV, but its looking like we wont see that until next season 2015

ill be interested to see the followup to lysa tullys death,

in the book, peter had means to blame it on a singer,

but in the show he and sansa were the only ones present so im interested to see what kind of bullshit story he comes up with to tell the rest of the vale

good point about the missing singer character. Best think I can think of is Petyr will claim suicide but that's pretty weak.

the show is spreading too thin compared to their budget. Movies get 100-300 millions for an hour and half to 2 hours, this show gets 6 million an episode average, meaning probablt 15 for the big episode 9 then 4-5 every other, for a total of 60 million, 10 hours of footage.

At some point, actors cost money, not just for actors themselves, but how much it costs to keep a film crew to do their scene, on top of costumers, locations, stunt doubles.

Considering how extensive the story is, they have no choice but to take shortcuts and make changes, even if it looks weak story-wise. Cutting out the singer means one less person to hold casting interviews for, it means you cut all the prison and skycell scenes he's involved in, long explanations, etc.

It's the same with the wall, they're probably thinking it;s the best place to change things and spice it up, god knows this is a spot in the novels i've only ever read diagonally, and i'm at my 4th read through of the series. They've already said they're not beholden to the novels, that they will change things.

already We can see that tommen won't be a little crybaby, cersei won't be a bitch about tommen's new wife and her influence. From cercei's attitude toward the iron bank and stannis's visiting them instead of recieving a visit in book 5, i'm guessing we won't see the new high septon nor his religious army, among other things too.

I think we better prepare ourselves for major, major changes. This is a work on its own right.
