Am I the only person who noticed a 'look' between Jon and Sansa? It was brief, but there was a moment between them. I think they are foreshadowing a potential love story there.

Because the north sees them as brother and sister. We'll probably find out John's backstory eventually, but I don't think it'll be common knowledge for all of Westeros and incest isn't looked kindly upon.

They're brother/sister, and haven't seen each other seen season 1, + Sansa haven't seen a friendly/family face in so long, she had a rough time everywhere she went. The look is understandable.

Yea, I mentioned that possibility earlier in the thread as well. The political convenience is there for it. We've seen flashes of the appropriate emotions. We have a solid history of Jon being enamored with redheads. The writers have the "ace in the hole" of being able to "surprise" the audience by revealing they aren't siblings. Also, there's a simple process of elimination, who the hell else is there for Sansa if not Jon? Tyrion? Baelish? Robert Arryn suddenly hits super-puberty? Podrick?

Another way to look at it: The book's Jeyne Poole (fake Arya) character would have made a logical bride for Jon. If they are transferring that full story to Sansa, she might have to fit in there (although not as much of a natural fit).

Jon went forever without seeing his real blood family. Growing up him and Sansa didn't get along and they could be thinking they are the last two Starks left alive. Jon is probably overwhelmed with all the shit happening and finally being with what could be his last sibling.
