Seems like Oberyn was jealous seeing Cersei painfully pinch Tyrion's baby penis. It's like he has been thinking about it for a long time, even fantasizing about it. Now he has come to King's Landing and found an opportunity to get himself in Tyrion's good graces. Perhaps he is doing it all for a chance to be allowed to do a repeat performance of Cersei's treatment to Tyrion? It would be consistent with his very liberal sexual behavior and would make real waves in social media for the show.

anyone else who has read the book upset with the storyline taking place at the wall/in the north

its feels so far off right now, a few plot details in slavers bay are kind of bothering me, but its somewhat accurate atleast

but i think what they are doing up north is just bad at this point,

i understand they need to change things to give the show an element of surprise ( And i do like when something happens that i wasnt expecting ),

but i think they are starting to stray too far from the path, and they are dragging shit out too.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I am very unhappy that other Night's Watch bros didn't witness Sam do the slaying ... that was a huge part of his development as a character and it's just gone. The show better have plans to replace it.

As for the more current events, I think they are just having trouble making time to focus on the Wall because of trying to keep the other plot lines coherent enough to be understandable. The way things are paced now, we might not even see the attack on the Wall this season at all. Plenty of Book 3 will be left for Season 5, but I am confident that when it is shown it will be a high quality adaptation as most things are.
