AMC have announced The Walking Dead will get an expanded, 90-minute season premiere. The Season 2 premiere airs Sunday, October 16th on AMC at 9pm. they've also revealed the season will air in two halves. The first seven episodes will air over consecutive weeks through October and November. The show will then take a break through December and January, and episodes eight through thirteen will begin airing on February 12th at 9pm.

this is good to hear i was so shocked last year when i found about the series and that it ended after 7 episodes i was like WTF
