Now that they all but confirmed the flashpoint paradox, with the introduction of the time traveling barry and reverse flash fight with his mother, things could go in any direction.

Flashpoint Paradox seems like a few episodes in the future... maybe season 3... anyway... too much speculation, looks interesting for many things.
