Episode 6 and 7 were flashback episodes. That's what they were hinted at earlier in the season when they were doing interviews. So when the governor saw rick and carl and michonne and herhsel, it was literally right after the previous episode. So yes the storylines intersected at that point.

Chronologically, how does the end of E7 compare to where we left off with the prison story at the end of E5?

It looks like we just saw the Governor watch Rick with someone else outside gardening. That makes me think it E7 ended before S4 began or possibly a little after. I think we would need to see a big jump forward in time to E8 for the 2 storylines to intersect.

I think your right. The past 2 episodes were flashbacks showing what happened to the governor. Why did he kill the brother with empathy and conscience. I guess he thought he was too weak?

He killed the one brother because he wants to survive as he mentioned throughout the episode multiple times that he will do "anything to survive" and the reason he let the other brother live was because he liked his style. The other brother wanted to rob that other group of their supplies which the governor admired.

Yea I need to rewatch the episode, I missed so much dialogue because I was working on an accounting assignment at the same time

I didn't get that from reading his post. So you are both saying that you think E5 and E7 ended at the same moment (the 2 storylines intersected)?

Yes.. How did you miss that?

Re-watch e5, hershel and Micchone go out in the jeep on a run, and rick + carl are doing garden work.

All of this is seen at the end of e7 which is when the 2 flashback episodes caught up and intersected

There is no them thinking it. That is what it is. One part of it is literally the same fucking shot. Pay attention.

Pretty sure you have to be retarded to NOT know the last 2 episodes were some type of flashback.

The amount of derp in this thread right now is astounding. Pretty sure the question was answered properly in the first reply. After that being an asshole just to be an asshole is so off putting and childish.
