Only Happened Cause Martinez Was Pushing His Buttons.

That whole "I would've left you in there if it wasn't for the girl" plus the whole abandoning him, I expected martinez to die pretty quickly. Was surprised when he took out the good brother though and spared the bad one.

You need to be the right amount of psychopath to keep the psychos happy and the right amount fair leader to keep everyone else happy. The gov can't seem to walk that line without turning full psycho himself.

i thought it was going to be gov going to the real psychos (those murderous people) then killing the group he left and taking their stuff then going to the prison.

hopes dashed atm.

Chronologically, how does the end of E7 compare to where we left off with the prison story at the end of E5?

It looks like we just saw the Governor watch Rick with someone else outside gardening. That makes me think it E7 ended before S4 began or possibly a little after. I think we would need to see a big jump forward in time to E8 for the 2 storylines to intersect.

What?

It works chronologically..? End of e5 the Governor was watching the prison, at the time Rick and Carl were doing the garden, and Hershel and Micchone went out on a run. (E7 governor see's hershel and micchone after seeing the people in garden)

I'm surprised to find someone with this opinion. I will be interested to see what others think.

E6 started as flashback to the Governor killing all his people on the road. I thought the next 2 episodes were all one continuous story, happening at the same time as what we've seen with the prison group.

like the other guy said..episode 5 ended with governor watching the prison

e6 and e7 were just a back story on what the governor was up to leading up to the same point as what episode 5 ended with

I didn't get that from reading his post. So you are both saying that you think E5 and E7 ended at the same moment (the 2 storylines intersected)?
