fascinating episode, something the show required. things were getting too predictable

in my personal opinion, after this episode, i think the governor is the most complex character in the show

Show this soft side of the governor for what? My guess is he is going to become that vengeful psychopath again, then the sisters and little girl will be very surprised at what he really is.

But maybe he won't!??? I doubt it, but maybe. He's now found a replacement family, I wonder if he will strive hard to keep it and not kill them all. Definitely a complex character I so can't wait for the next episode.

Time to conveniently forget the recent atrocities committed by the Governor (countless murders, torture, genocide, sexual sadism etc etc) and learn to love him.

i miss merle. This season has been either really shitty or really good. They need to string together a couple good episodes IMO. I like the fill in on the Govonator, but I dont think an entire episode was needed and it also looks like we'll get an episode or two more of this. Not sure how I feel about that one.

I find it strange they took an almost completely flat character and tried to give him the most depth of anyone in the series. Hopefully he doesn't turn back into some psycho killer keeping heads in jars and such.
