Carl was sporting the so called "#1 Zombie Apocalypse Melee Weapon" (The Crowbar) to which i had a debate with friends saying that an axe (with a strong composite handle) would be a better choice imo if I had to choice one or the other for a zombie fight.

Dude, the number one melee weapon in any situation is an actual "WEAPON". So a sword is the best melee weapon
