I'm concerned that Rick could be creating another 'Governor situation' with Carol. If his policy is going to be to keep supplying people and then leaving them by the wayside when they don't fit in his group (rather than killing them), then naturally that leaves more and more people with a potential vendetta against them. For instance, and I'm not saying this could really happen its just an off-the-wall example, if Carol were to run into the Governor, she could drastically help him assault the prison thanks to her intimate knowledge of the layout and how the group functions. Rick dealt with this same conundrum with the kid back at the farm as well. Shane had to finally take matters into his own hands there. I see this as a potential flaw in Rick's philosophy.

So disappoint the hippie couple didn't join the crew.

i actually thought on the couple, and came to the conclusion i really dislike they brought them in and killed her at least (unknown about the male).

carol and rick where in the neighborhood, she had a gun, she obviously was moving way from them as the fruit was dropped a little ways away from the blood trail.

Her leg look like it just fell off.

carol was just trying to save lives...I think Daryl will look for carol and bring her back to the prison.

Trying to save lives she killed two people that still had a chance and caused the death of one and possibly the death of another because she pushed to have them help out. Had they stayed where they were, they'd still be alive. While I understand her position, I understand Rick's better. One, he can't trust her anymore. Two, it would eat him up inside to hide what she did and it would obviously cause a rift once tyreese found out and she was still around.

I figure they didn't know how to turn the safties off (or rick gave them unloaded guns so they'd die and he can blame it on carol, making it easier to tell her to fuck off), but the leg thing is beyond me. I guess it just fell off cus it was already broken.

Pretty sure rick wouldn't do that kind of thing, especially considering he kept waiting long after they should have left. Not to mention he have that guy his watch.

First thought: Maybe the guy decided to betray the girl. He gets his shoulder fixed and is given a gun so he figures this is his chance to make a run for it by dropping the deadweight of his hobbled bitch who's always complaining about her period and will never suck his dick. Soon as they get out of sight, he smashes her leg and leaves her for walkerbait so he can make his escape with whatever supplies they had at the time. If this is the case, the guy could show up later this season. They made a point to emphasize the significance of the watch a couple times.

A weirder theory: Maybe the couple's story about their previous group was a rehearsed lie. Something seemed fishy about them being holed up in that door with walkers active in the house. And their story about it taking them 6 bullets to kill a walker could have been playing possum. Maybe they were really out scouring this neighborhood with their group. They return to their others after meeting Rick and then a fight breaks out over some group drama we don't understand yet, leaving the girl dead (quietly) and then the rest of the group runs off. Maybe they even watch the Rick and Carol talking and then driving off in different directions. This could be the connection to the next big group Rick finds (each season has featured finding a new group).

No offense but both those situations sound very idiotic. If either of those are true I will actually stop watching the show. It is very possible that the guy will show up later in the season, the whole watch thing etc. but to say he is some psychopath who killed the girl he was with and has been protecting is absurd.
