I just don't see why he even said that. All this time he acted like he loved her and wanted to be with her. Suddenly she has that curse on her and then he tells Damon to help her and then he wants to break up with her. Seems like out of no where. He was trying to find the cure to save her and did all that hard work trying to get the cure for her and then breaks up with her? Why did he do all of that if he was going to say that.

Wish this show would turn down the drama lol. Much more and I may stop watching... The B-rated storyline alone can only hold my attention for so long...

It was because after pouring his heart out to her doing everything he can in his own unique style trying to save her that he couldn't believe that she was falling for Damon. I mean he practically said it himself. "When I was the ripper, I would understand why you fell you Damon, I mean I practically pushed you to him". Now that .he's in control again he can't understand why. Does this make sense?

I dunno. I just think he didn't love her and want to be with her as much as possible. He could have sorted it out easier than that.
