First off, I must admit there's always a possibility that Endgame could be one of the rare superhero movies that is actually good. There have been a few, so it's not unthinkable that there will be more.

The more likely explanation, however, is that "rating and review sites" are all part of the marketing machine (a machine that Disney is pulling the strings on).

100% the saw the movie today

6.5/10 global rating all genres combined

who ever rates this 9/10 just lol no where near the level of shawshank god father dark knight schindlers list etc blasphemy who ever rates this higher then a 7.5

for my personal taste 6.5/10

Saw the movie today. Infinity war was better. Endgame had its moments. Movie was really fucking long. It kinda felt like the broly movie. They really dragged it out. Captain Marvel was meh. Thanos is still a bad ass without the stones. I wouldn't say everyone gets a happily ever after. But dayum Captain America really shines in this one.

yeh 7/10

Ok since we are taking about it

Definitely not 9/10 movie, it was 6/10 for me.

SPOILER

What I wanted to clarify when I posted earlier is regarding the end aged captain America scene at the end. Marvel time travel was theorized as events that change the past DO NOT change or effect future timelines. When they were returning the stones they were supposedly returning them to the exact moment they were taken for this reason, since it’s only that timeline effected by the stones absence. For this reason we can assume it wasn’t the exact same captain that was sent back 49 years because he is literally in 1970 timeline, and the time lines cannot miraculously merge. In his timeline there is a sleeping captain america still that he knows will surface ~2010. I just want to verify are they implying a loop is in place, that the captain America aged we saw on the bench actually is from a future timeline that made the same decision to go back to 1970 and stay there living out his days (hence aged in 2019). I watched the Peggy death scene again because then she would have known what captain America did since she was married to him, and I just wasn’t convinced.

Secondly what happens to the timelines that are now missing a thanos lol? All the avengers would be alive and well there, and god knows what will happen in the timeline where loki snuck the cube. The avengers made no effort to make sure that mistake wasn’t corrected.

I am just kinda annoyed, I feel like they didn’t think this stuff through as much as they should have. Also didn’t care for fat Thor and a hulk that doesn’t fight, 2nd movie he went afk during the real fight with thanos (Prior to strange’s entrance when tony , cap, thor were holding thanos). I guess u can argue the stones fucked him up a bit but I wasn’t impressed

I liked infinity war better

Him going back is not a part of the past, it is a part of the future. Something that captain america won't reach in the other reality until the far future. Timelines don't merge, the other captain america is iced.

Right so in this situation he would then be Peggy’s husband in ‘our’ timeline, if you rewatch that Peggy dying scene it doesn’t quite add up
