tbh, the worst part about this show is that you know how all of these characters will end, so there is no tension at all for me, which makes is kinda mediocre

Not all. Kim and Nacho are major characters with unknown fates. Plus, by showing 'future Saul' at the beginning of each season, they are teasing the possibility that the show may further explore characters who were still alive at the end of BB.

ho hum

interesting enough i suppose

just seems like the downside of a well developed story is that it can only inch forward a little bit each week

yea, especially since it's only 44 minutes

After getting used to Netflix/HBO "hour long episodes" that are more like 56 minutes, I can really feel the difference the extra 12 minutes makes each week.

I found this week's episode to be a little more interesting than the previous couple

I wonder if the new german guy is going to be a recurring character going forward. If so, he could intersect with the future plot.

Madrigal happens to be a german company. Could just be a coincidence though.

That is part of the reason that I think the "Cinnabon future" scenes are not real, they are just in Saul's head

The writers already have to deal with the audience know where the characters go up to the end of Breaking Bad. They wouldn't wanna exacerbate that problem by planting another fixed point even further in his future.

More logical to make it a dream sequence so they can pull up a twist later when it turns out to not be real
