I'm excited but it has roughly a 0% chance of being the best movie ever

Have a friend who saw it at an early premier in Baltimore and said it sucks.

He's a huge Black Panther fan and he was not a happy camper.

E: 97% on RT.... okay, I'm going to see this, but I'm about 99.99% sure that this world has just gone fucking crazy and that if you make a blockbuster movie with a lead who's a minority or a woman, it's going to be raved about. WW wasn't even good lol. It was alright, it was watchable, but if you make an okay movie with a woman and suddenly it's a GROUNDBREAKING RAWRRRRRRRR MASTERPIECE movie. Shit is getting out of fucking control. I'll wait until I see the movie to comment again, but there's no fucking way in hell this movie deserves the same score as The Departed.

I won't be watching it because I don't like going to the theater, and I dislike Marvel movies as whole.

I've been thinking the same thing

Someone could turn huge profits right now by making a movie about a female protagonist getting sexually harassed at work. Everyone in Hollywood will be forced to heap praises on it.

Why the fuck is this important?

The movie is at a 100% from top critics, 40+ have all given it a positive rating, and they're not like 3/5 or 3.5/5, pretty much all 5/5 or 3.5/4 or shit like that.

I'm hoping I'm wrong and that this movie is actually be good, but I just don't fucking see how it's possible with how fucking bad it looked. I'll find out this weekend I guess. Got some free movie tickets and I might as well use one on the highest rated super-hero movie ever.

RIGHT! Can't believe we're actually in total agreement on this, but well said. Just absolutely fucking ridiculous, and this review perfectly sums up why exactly I thought this movie was getting the praise it's getting, and it's looking more and more like it's just affirmative fucking action. We hate racism and intolerance so much that the only way we can be against it is by purposefully separating and giving preferential and undeserved treatment to the minority. Nothing screams equality like handout adoration because of your skin tone or genitals. Fucking ludicrous.

I actually do loathe bigots, sexists, misogynists, prejudiced pieces of shit, and wtf ever else, but this type of backwards ass fucking logic and reasoning is part of why white supremacy is regaining popularity and it's completely fucking counterproductive towards REAL equality.
