He's gone back and forth, but in a recent interview, he said he'd keep making movies as long as he was still on top. He said that if the quality of his films went to shit, and the public agreed that his movies were shit, that's when he would quit. We'll see what happens, because he's talked about retiring because he's been bored before, I'm hoping he doesn't, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he just says fuck it one day, and we never hear from him again. He's also a GIANT asshole. I don't know if you've watched his interviews, or stories of people who have hung out with him, he's an insane person, and a complete prick. Doesn't matter because the guy is a fucking genius, and I'm going to keep watching his movies ofc, but it did make me sad just knowing that I'd never want to actually hang out with him (not that I'd ever get the chance anyways lol).
