That Venom role was one of the worst castings in movie history IMO.

Topher Grace's career went from being in big budget blockbusters and academy award winning films to B-movies.

Probably related to the completely unrelated tweet made by the better call saul twitter account where they said "Mando Michael is spectacular at bringing carnage to life in Better Call Saul,"
Given that Mando has been cast for unknown role on homecoming. Some website said that it hints that he's going to be carnage.... which is a stretch to say the least.

Last official word on the venom movie was that it was stand alone -
