You bring up a very good point, they could easily pay homage to some of the creators of great horror/suspense by dedicating an entire episode to each. Perhaps they could weave ten elements of their style into an episode, it would add another interesting element to watching the shows.

I just saw the Guillermo del Toro exhibit at LACMA....wow. What a genius mind. He also idolized Lovecraft.
I think Poe, Lovecraft, Stephen King, even Bradbury, Ambrose Bierce, Ron Horsley, Dean Koontz, etc. could make good themes for many more series.

Well the show creators said they wanted to do stories based in USA history, considering most of the creepy stuff we see is based in European history. Which to me nerfd the question where the heck are the Poe and Lovecraft influences? Both to quintessential horror writers and both American but neither seem to have any play in the show.

A Lovecraftian theme would be fucking amazing.....

del Toro is amazing. I'm still praying they let him finish Hellboy.

Just wanted to mention i thought it was great Sarah Paulson finally won an Emmy the other day, I think it is just as much for her fantastic work on AHS as it was for that mini series about OJ.

Since its like mini "ahs" - watched Scream Queens premiere of season 2 tonight on Fox. Emma Roberts got 1/2 naked and their were some funny lines. Guess this season is going to be about a Hospital - Her Lady of Perpetual Misery built next door to a swamp where they can throw drugged patients into whenever they dont feel like helping them. Also they showed Lady Gaga's new video, wasn't good but at least show was kinda funny.

Looking forward to tomorrows AHS - ill see what this seasons all about.

yeah i didn't watch season 1 - I saw a show or 2 so i know it was a university - so this season i think all the characters are the same people, but they all left school and are now working at a hospital. And i think the show is done by the same people

Not a fan of that show, was trying to watch some tv and there was nothing else on, TV is so bad these days, I got 200 channels of crap to choose from.

Meh TV is pretty dated tbh. Online is where it is at. Netflix hbogo etc. I hate looking through a guide for hundreds of channels and not wanting to watch anything.

tots agree, tv is just bad, I only keep it for nostalgia reasons and the digital music channels and there's a few programs i like on HBO and FXX and History and Nat GEO. Just you gotta swim through a sea of crap to find the good stuff like everything in life.
