That pet strigoi is the only good part about the kids storyline. I wonder if it would stay loyal after the master gets killed/locked up.

He could have killed them all himself, as well as ichorst if he dared to show himself.


Bit much going on atm. Not enough time following mr quinlan (even if for the sake of argument he is just reading the book - he is a well liked character that needs more screen time imo),
Similar with the other ancients and their trained hunters. Not since season 1(?) when they attacked eldritch have they even really been featured.


And they didn't address the "ancient" coming in from Egypt. Next Ep will likely deal with that, quinlan, and eldritch.. But then it won't touch on the Central Park happenings ... Too much happening atm

I doubt Quinlan is dead, but gee it'd be good if the ancients lived. After seeing how badass they are they could do some serious damage now that theyre pissed off. Though I feel like the show put them out on a high note.

And why didnt the ancients make an army? Fair enough they trained highly skilled fighters, but after the first batch there was only 4? They could have had an army to fight an army

Seems they're changing the death of the ancients around. It was completely different in the books, playing to the origin of their species.

You wouldn't want too many highly skills soldiers, what if they were to betray you?


And poor old Mexican guy

An army of strigoi would need more food and would stand out to both the human authorities that were still fighting and the master himself. The master pretty much controls everything so that's not an issue to him, but to the ancients who are hiding from him and performing covert strikes and missions in the city, an army would be counter intuitive.

Poor angel, he still went out in a blaze of glory like the book, just a little differently. It's a shame the mayor didn't make it, but at least gus is still kicking.

They could have started making strigoi and let them roam the streets, multiplying their numbers and fighting the others. That way they wouldnt have to risk having them lead the master to them or worry about feeding them.

Hopefully we see Gus really out for vengeance now, which could be cool
