He has both of those and does them well, but he's a pretty abysmal actor let's be honest

Cruise has had some flops lately though. He needs to choose his roles more carefully in my opinion.

Guy Richie wanted a thugish cockney for Lock Stock...a jewelry thief type of person. So what did he do? He went around looking for guys trying to fence jewelry and bootleg movies.

Eventually, he stumbled upon Statham and cast him. That's how he was discovered...he was basically living as Turkish already.

On topic: Adam Sandler is pretty fucking terrible, along with Kevin James. Rob Schneider also comes close to worst actor in Hollywood.

Kevin James is pure class, how can you even call him terrible? Rob Schneider is pretty good too, and Adam sandler I agree isn't very good.
