The style reminds me of Redline, which is a fucking great movie.

Maybe I'll check out Dead Leaves.

Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (aka Spirited Away) (2001)

Although I actually liked Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (The Dissappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya) even better, but it requires having watched the Haruhi series to properly enjoy.

Other movies like Kaze no tani no Naushika (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind), Inside Out and the Madoka movies are up there as well.
