The worst part of the film was the studio took it from the director and have it to a random editing studio. It feels really strange at times, but there is definitely a good movie in there. Hopefully they release the properly edited version as an extended cut like they did for bvs.

On a side note apparently WB gave creative control for dceu to 1 person so no more board room bullshit.

the director and cast and everyone who works on the movie generally want the directors cut to be released, but it isn't their choice.

Apparently WB had like 5 different edits of the film made and released the one by the company who did the second trailer. the issue with that being they hired a trailer making company to make a movie edit.

But like I said, reportedly they appointed a single person to head the dceu so maybe things will get better.

Kinda, we didn't get to see much of what he's really about though

Excellent movie. It was captivating, humorous, entertaining. Will smith/deadshot killed it. Although the scenes where they tried to humanize him with his daughter didn't do much for me. Harley Quin killed it, she portrayed a perfect Harley ( & she looked so damn sexy in her regular doctors attire )I thought Leto's joker was awesome, although I read they removed a ton of his scenes which is disappointing. He depicted a good new 52 joker. Heath's joker nailed the psychopath part but Leto's was much more...sinister...you didn't know wtf he was going to do/could fuck shit up at anytime. My main issue with the movie was the end action scenes, talk about fucking lack-luster. The movie stated off great, kept it up throughout the movie then was a total boner kill at the end. First of all, you have enchantress brother, who is massively OP, I mean we saw this goon shred a fucking subway train like cheese..yet the 'heroes' all took shelter behind random debris when he was attacking them & somehow that was sufficient ? Then he's defeated by some bomb ?? Lame. Then there's the final fight scene between everybody & the witch. This should've been a broadcast of the true extent of the squads power, culminating in an epic fight scene that climaxes the movie. What we got was just...lame...Unlike in civil war, the end fight scene between ironman, cptn A & Bucky, we saw this in the trailer & it was still epic. The jail guard that was in charge was hilarious imo, & the batman/flash tie/ins were dope as well. Anyway, overall I very entertaining movie that I very much enjoyed.
