Sc1 was bad and was saved by brood war, I am a giant sc fan, I fucking love that game so much. but try not to kid yourself, without bw sc1 would have fallen into obscurity within 5 years if that.

D1+2 were made by North and fantastic games. D3 is the worst piece of shit I have ever played and totally ruined a fantastic ip.

Sc2 is a terrible crap cash-cow that the old blizzard would have never dreamed of doing.

Wc3 was great, but it wouldn't have survived nearly as long as it has without fan made games. The new blizzard even tried to copywrite dota so it's developer couldn't make dota2, that is how fucking scummy blizzard has become.

WoW hasn't been good since burning crusade, and runescape is an older, much more core mmo.

Not to mention the fact that everything you have talked about sans d3 was the old blizzard from 10-12 years ago, which is what I fucking said.

I remember in sc2 when Protoss could literally win every game by proxy gateway rush. Gateway built faster than pool and rax and zealous built 5 second faster than lings and marines. Not to mention all of the maps at this time where bullshit 2 spawn point 30 second travel distance crap. It is like they learned absolutely fucking nothing from working on sc:bw for 15 years.

Still good games compared to others on the market.
Sc2 is a really fun game

I played sc almost daily for close to 12 years, and I quit sc2 after under 6 months then tried it again and quit again multiple times since release. I can say without a doubt that sc2 is no where near as good or as fun as sc1/bw and there are much better options out there.

Even the campaign is mediocre at best. I've played sc2 campaign once, cbf to do it again. I've played the sc1+bw campaigns probably 20+ times each.

just no.

gotta say the compaign in SC1 was awesome and I am not even a big fan of this game, even though I acknowledge it's one of the best game no doubt, the music, the stories, the cinematics for its time, everything was done perfectly well.

Didn't need the expansion. Sc was a perfect game imo. Wish it never died out, I'd still play it religiously now if I could

You may have liked sc more than bw but the fact is it only became popular after bw and it certainly never would have grown into any type of esport without bw, let alone the biggest esport in history that actually started the entire esport business. Bw brought the much needed bandage to sc to make it capable of being competitive.

Am I wrong? I can list everything positive about the game if you would like......It's a long list. And remember, I no longer play it, so it's not like im heavily addicted to it.
