Is it true that the only fight/action scenes in the movie were the ones revealed in the trailers?

IMO mostly yes. If you like this movie you're pretty much living in the timeline of the movie Idiocracy and I'm Luke Wilson.

Also this is the most honest review I've read. http://www.sfgate.com/movies/article/Deadpool-is-bad-enough-to-be-the-future-

The entire story is given away/shown in the trailers. I won't lie its down right hilarious though.

simple fix for that don't watch trailers or if need be just watch a teaser or like I do just read a quick blurb on the film.

I feel like the author hasn't the faintest idea what Deadpool source material is. He talks about what type of superhero Deadpool is, then seems to think it's bad that the movie would portray him to that effect.

"Unlike other superheroes, he is aware of the superhero genre and his place within it. Onscreen, he seems to know that he is a fictional character, or at least that he is starring in a movie. Frequently, he looks directly into the camera and talks. In one scene, he even moves the camera himself.
These are distancing strategies, and they make for a cold piece"

This "self-knowledge" is taken from the comics, which he appears to understand in one sentence, but then bashes the movie for using it in the next.

If he on the one hand acknowledges that a movie is playing at it's source material then criticizes it for doing that I don't think he understands what type of film this is lol.

Maybe it's just because I personally didn't expect it to be an amazing piece of cinematography with an exceptionally deep moving story coming from... Deadpool... but I think the writer of that article took it all COMPLETELY out of context lol.

edit: typos OP

the article writer isn't known within nerd/geek/pop culture nor film so take it with a grain of salt. it's like a sports writer deciding to write a piece on minecraft.

trolling I assume. Love Idiocracy but you clearly just have no taste for this kind of comedy, doesn't make it devolved at all. The comedy in this movie for the most part is pretty clever, even brilliant, and the comedy in Idiocracy is just an ass farting.

wasnt bad, but i personally wouldnt rate it high as 8.8/10(imdb) or 84%/96% (RT).
7.5/10

Probably would rate it higher if I had no idea deadpool existed and needed some sort of backstory.

looking forward to the sequel

Just saw it in the theater, wasted a lot of potential. Would give it a 6/10
