Even sci fy movies that have made it to the theaters have been poor.

You have to realize that nearly all movies that are based on video games have done very poorly.

I know you made a generalization. I just automatically assume people that generalize aren't worth arguing with.

I wouldn't expect it to be a good movie. Just like Warcraft, it would appeal to the fans of the game. Chances are Warcraft will be bad. That doesn't mean a fan of Warcraft won't find it entertaining.
